Prefer Your Brother

Last evening we talked about "Prefer Your Brother" lesson on the Breezes of Confirmation and tried to memorise this line: "Blessed is he who preferreth his brother before himself".

We concluded if we all think this ways and practice it; at a higher level we will not have wars.

And then we had an opportunity to play some ping pong and play some musical instruments.

Good news

Good news is that last evening we had by far the best time. Three additional and new friends came and we had a great "reading circle". We read about "confirmation".

Then we all went out and enjoyed ice-cream ! We also welcome a youth who will be trained to become Junior Youth Animator.... such a wonderful service.

We all look forward to next week's program. Meantime there is an End-of-year Children's Class party on Saturday that we are looking forward to..

more to come....

Junior Youth Program on Tuesday

Last evening we got together and studied this sentence: (we memorized it as well)

"Work done in the spirit of service is the highest form of worship"

We then went to visit an older gentlemen living in a retirement home; to make him happy. He was a sweet man and presented us with candies! He told us a little about his long life and was smiling all the time. We enjoyed it and hope that we could go back and visit him again.

We then played a little on a pool table at the premises where he was living....

Service Project: Cleaning a Neighborhood

Today we were 4 junior youth with our teacher and an older adult; after doing some studying we went out to do an act of service. We had decided to clean a neighborhood around where we get together for the class; so we put on our gloves and took three large garbage bags and went out and cleaned one street. You would think that they are clean; but actually there was lots of trash. Only if we all would pay attention and clean, the faces of our neighborhoods would definitely change.
